Dexter, a leading axle and towing components manufacturer, is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator in the United States to oversee outbound shipments and coordinate freight. The role is hands-on, fast-paced, and requires close collaboration with warehouse teams, drivers, and office staff to ensure shipments are planned, loaded, and delivered correctly.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of shipping experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Experience scheduling loads and coordinating freight with carriers.
• Strong communication and ability to explain issues clearly.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and oversee outbound shipments and daily truck loads.
• Build daily shipping plans and keep freight moving on time.
• Coordinate large or special shipments to meet customer needs.

Dexter is looking for a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator who knows how a warehouse runs and can keep freight moving out the door. This role is hands-on and fast-paced, working closely with the warehouse team, drivers, and office staff to make sure shipments are planned, loaded, and delivered the right way.

What You’ll Do

• Schedule and oversee outbound shipments and daily truck loads
• Build daily shipping plans, set priorities, and keep freight moving on time
• Coordinate large or special shipments to meet customer and order needs
• Track shipments and fix issues when delays or problems come up
• Keep accurate shipping records, logs, and schedules
• Document customer issues and resolutions
• Communicate with warehouse staff, drivers, and internal teams throughout the day
• Help with training records and basic reporting
• Follow all safety and quality standards
• Handle other tasks or projects as needed to support operations

What We’re Looking For

• At least 2 years of shipping experience in a warehouse or distribution environment
• Experience scheduling loads, working with carriers, or coordinating freight
• Clear communication — can give direction and explain issues
• Comfortable handling problems with employees or customers
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
• Experience in high-volume shipping environments
• Willing to work flexible hours when needed
• Safety-minded and quality-focused every day
