Job summary

Pioneer Metal Finishing, based in South Bend, IN, seeks a dependable Receiving/Shipping Associate for its warehouse operations. The role covers receiving incoming materials, preparing orders for shipment, and supporting overall material handling in a busy facility. Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 8 am–4 pm.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Receiving: check received goods against purchase orders, freight bills, and delivery tickets; report discrepancies; prepare counts and paperwork; distribute products using forklift or pallet jack.
• Shipping: check product to paperwork; determine packaging and shipping method; schedule carriers; coordinate with Shipping/Receiving to optimize weekly stops; complete related paperwork.
• Material Handling: assist in warehouse organization, maintain neatness, and help with deliveries to customers; lift and move materials as needed; operate forklift safely.
