Chapman Auto Stores in Philadelphia is seeking a Parts Shipping and Receiving Clerk to prepare outgoing shipments and receive inbound goods. You will organize inventory, review schedules and document inventory damages, ensuring smooth daily operations and accurate records.

The role involves coordinating large shipments, maintaining the stockroom, and addressing shipping issues while supporting a focused, efficient logistics team.

Qualifications

• Obtain and process product orders, including receiving deliveries and distributing packages.
• Maintain the stockroom through organizing, cleaning and cataloging items.
• Schedule large shipments and plan logistics for space and staffing needs.
• Keep shipping/receiving files and prepare regular reports for managers.
• Handle shipping or inventory issues and resolve customer complaints.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks for large items as needed.

Responsabilités

• Prepare outgoing shipments and receive incoming shipments.
• Organize inventory for easy retrieval as new orders come in.
• Review shipment schedules to maintain productive operations.
• Document damages to inventory and maintain accurate records.
• Troubleshoot shipping issues and ensure environmental standards are followed.
• Package and place merchandise in warehouse storage as required.
