Job description

Job Title: Experienced Toolmaker – Full Time at Pryer Aerospace, Tulsa, OK 74115 – Position Type: Full Time.

Position Summary

Responsible for finished goods inventory. Receives, stores, and distributes parts within Pryer.

Essential Functions

• Receives in inventory and stocks onto shelves.
• Maintains accurate inventory records through the use of ERP.
• Performs cycle counting and verifies inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and resolves discrepancies.
• Fills internal job routers.
• Maintains hardware and weld wire levels and sends request to purchasing for replenishment.
• Maintains warehouse appearance, including housekeeping and organization.
• Maintains basic quality requirements/ISO awareness.
• Prepares materials for shipment as required.
• Exhibits good organization, prioritization, and multi‑tasking skills.
• Writes routine reports and correspondence.
• Adds, subtracts, multiplies, and divides in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Supports the company and department business goals and objectives for Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety and Attitude (QCDSA).
• Functions as a team member and under minimal supervision.
• Performs essential functions at the discretion of the Manager.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum three (3) months related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience with receipt and stocking of material, filling requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials/parts. Experience handling both external and internal customers, building relationships and providing good customer service. Experience operating a forklift truck to move product around the warehouse and load trucks is desired.
• Computer Skills: Proficient in the use of material management tracking software and Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Certifications/Licenses: Valid Oklahoma driver’s license with minimal or no points on driving record. Able to be certified to safely operate a forklift.
