Knapheide Truck Equipment Center in Cincinnati, OH is looking to hire a Shipping/Receiving Clerk. This full-time position works Monday - Friday from 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM, with additional overtime as needed.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Printing of all outbound shipping paperwork, completed trucks and freight
• Directing the shipping crew to ensure units are staged and checked over for shipping
• Verifying that the truck drivers have the proper paperwork and that all VIN # match
• Working with Knapheide logistics and other transportation company dispatchers
• Logging all shipments in the appropriate computer systems once the units have been picked up
• Work with Knapheide haul truck driver on return shipments to factory, local vendors, and offsite storage locations
• Responsible for scanning and bar coding of product and locations
• Cycle count inventory to ensure accuracy of inventory
• Manage and coordinate work order processing activities
• Frequent and continuous communication and feedback with team members
• Ability to interact with others
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Attention to detail, a positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Work safely in a production environment wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required
• Regular and predictable attendance
• Additional duties as assigned
  
  

Education/Certification Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
  
  

Preferred Training And Experience

• Need good mathematical aptitude and organizational skills to work at a high level of accuracy
• One year of factory-related experience in shipping and receiving
• Must be able to multi-task and prioritize job duties
• Ability to communicate at all levels and the ability to function in a dynamic environment
• Ability to maintain a neat, clean and organized work area
  
  

Physical Demands

• Normal standing, walking, bending and twisting as necessary to perform job duties
• Lifting/moving up to 50 pounds
• Exposure to normal seasonal temperatures
