Job summary

Bimbo Bakeries USA is hiring a Shipping Associate in Ridgeland, MS, to load and unload trailers, verify loads, and maintain the shipping yard. You will count products, keep records, report discrepancies, and help with cycle counts.

Candidates must be 18+, have 1–3 years shipping experience, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. English communication required; night, weekend, and holiday shifts are required in a warm, physical environment with full medical, dental, and retirement benefits.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• 1–3 years of shipping experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for prolonged periods.
• Comfortable in a warm working environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trailers accurately, verify route loads and maintain the shipping yard.
• Count and check products for accuracy, maintain records, report variances and participate in cycle counts.
• Operate material handling equipment, including pallet jack and forklift.
• Troubleshoot issues with packing equipment and related machinery.
