Job summary

Orchid Orthopedic Solutions in Memphis, TN seeks a Shipping/Receiving Associate I to package parts per customer specs and maintain accurate records. You will handle inbound and outbound materials, log transactions, and support inventory control in a compliant, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include coordinating with production and quality teams, performing 6S housekeeping weekly, and ensuring traceability and proper documentation. A high school diploma is required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, store, or ship materials per timelines and accuracy.
• Log shipments and receipts; conduct cycle counts; resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with medical device regualtions, quality standards and SOPs.
• Coordinate with production, quality, and procurement for aligned activities.
• Perform weekly housekeeping per 6S schedule.
• Move parts to/from finished goods as needed.

A BRIEF OVERVIEW

The Shipping/Receiving Associate I, is responsible for packaging parts according to customer specifications.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Execute processes to receive, inspect, store, or ship materials, ensuring adherence to established timelines and accuracy standards.
• Support inventory management by performing accurate system transactions, including logging shipments and receipts, conducting cycle counts, and resolving discrepancies.
• Handle materials in compliance with applicable medical device regulations, quality standards, and internal operating procedures, ensuring traceability and proper documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as production, quality, and procurement, to align shipping/receiving activities with operational needs and priorities
• Perform weekly housekeeping per 6S schedule.
• May move parts to and from finished goods.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Or Equivalent (Required)

EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

• Manufacturing Experience (Preferred)
• Experience in packaging (Preferred)
• Experience with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Quality Systems Regulation (QSR), and ISO standards (Preferred)
