Primary Accountabilities (Essential Duties)

1. Operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
2. Load/unload flatbed trucks and trailers, van body trailers, and reefer trailers. Responsible for the safety and efficiency of all job tasks.
3. Maintain organized inventory.
4. Responsible for quality on pick and pack orders according to work orders and schedules.
5. Follow all SOPs to ensure work is done accurately and efficiently.
6. Implement and assist process improvements.
7. Participate in LEAN initiatives and engage Six Sigma tools for process improvements.
8. Work closely with other departments to process/ship orders on time.
9. Produce, verify, and track certification for material, hardware, and galvanizing.
10. Create supporting documents for truckload (TL) and less than truckload (LTL) shipments using Epicor and FedEx systems.
11. Document loads using handheld cameras and load sheets.

Additional duties may include work in other functional areas to cover absences or peak periods.

Minimum Qualifications

• 2 years manufacturing experience (heavy machinery preferred).
• 1 year shipping and receiving experience.
• 1 year of basic data entry into an ERP system.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Technical Requirements

• Forklift certification.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.

Physical Requirements

• Able to squat, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
• Able to operate equipment, including forklifts, safely and follow safety protocols.
• Able to stand for up to 10 hours per day and walk for extended periods.
• Able to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse with temperature fluctuations.

Work Conditions

• Warehouse environment (not climate controlled).
