Job summary

SPX Technologies is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Assembler to prepare assembled units for shipment. You will build wooden crates, pack units for transport, and load/unload crates on trailers using a forklift.

Training and certification will be provided, and you’ll work in a fast-paced team environment. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and the ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and adhere to safety standards in a loud environment.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with loading docks, packaging units for shipment.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and procedures.
• Basic understanding of material handling equipment and PPE.

Responsibilities

• Build crates from wood using saws, pneumatic nail and staple guns.
• Package units for shipment using tape, bag and foam machines.
• Operate a forklift and load/unload large crates on trailers.
• Training and Certification will be provided.
• Work within a fast-paced team environment.
