Job summary

Cross Docks is a fast-paced logistics team seeking reliable Team Members to receive and ship orders using forklift, powered pallet jacks, and clamp trucks. This role involves manual tasks such as breaking down freight, repalletizing, wrapping and labeling pallets, and maintaining a clean work area.

Candidates will complete daily assignments safely and efficiently, work solo or in groups with urgency to meet store and guest needs, and ensure special orders are processed accurately and on time

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks or clamp trucks.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.
• Commitment to safety, housekeeping and productivity standards.

Responsibilities

• Receive and ship orders using forklift, pallet jacks, and clamp trucks.
• Break down freight and repalletize products as needed.
• Wrap and label pallets and maintain clean, organized work areas.
• Complete daily tasks safely and on time while meeting productivity and accuracy standards.
• Work independently or in teams to meet store/guest needs and ensure on-time processing of special orders.

General Description:

Cross Docks is the practice in logistics of unloading materials from an incoming semi trailer as well as other departments onto an outbound semi trailer with little to no storage in between. The Cross Dock has different work assignments that can change from day to day. If you like working in a fast-paced environment and learning new things, the Cross Dock can offer that and more!

Duties & Responsibilities:

Team Members will use forklift, powered pallet jacks, and clamp trucks to receive and ship orders to our stores. Manual work including breakdown freight, repalletizing product, wrapping pallets, labeling pallets, and housekeeping projects are included. Responsibilities include completing daily assignment in a safe and timely manner while meeting department productivity and accuracy standards. Being able to work alone or in a group with a sense of urgency to meet our stores/guests needs. Also ensuring all special orders get received in/shipped out in a timely manner free of damage and accurately shipped. Workers also need to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
