Job summary

Action Group Staffing is assisting a Tulsa manufacturing client in hiring a Shipping & Receiving Associate – Bulk in Tulsa, OK. The role pays $22–$25 per hour, Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, with occasional overtime. The job focuses on loading/unloading bulk materials from tanker trucks and railcars, handling hoses and pumps, and maintaining receiving documentation.

Work is largely outdoors. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in manufacturing, forklift experience, and the ability to lift

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of manufacturing or production experience.

• Ability to regularly lift 50–70 pounds.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Basic computer skills for receiving documentation and inventory transactions.

• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload raw materials and finished products from tanker trucks and railcars.
• Safely operate heavy-duty hoses, air supplies, and portable pumps used in bulk transfers.
• Connect and disconnect hoses and equipment during bulk material transfers.
• Climb tanker trucks and railcars to attach air supply hoses to valves.
• Collect samples from incoming bulk shipments for lab testing and approval.
• Coordinate with team to manage inbound bulk deliveries across the facility.
• Transfer products into IBC totes using electric mobile scales when needed.
• Operate forklifts to move finished products to storage areas.
• Complete receiving transactions, documentation, and driver check-out procedures.
• Inspect and maintain equipment and work areas for safe conditions.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment and proper PPE usage.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

This position is responsible for loading and unloading raw materials and finished products from tanker trucks and railcars, handling bulk chemical transfers, and maintaining accurate receiving documentation. The majority of this position is performed outdoors.

• Safely operate heavy-duty 3-inch camlock chemical hoses, regulated air supplies, and portable pumps
• Connect and disconnect hoses and equipment during bulk material transfers
• Climb tanker trucks and railcars to attach air supply hoses to designated valves
• Collect 4-ounce samples from incoming bulk shipments and deliver them to the on-site laboratory for testing and approval
• Collect additional samples when requested by laboratory personnel
• Coordinate with team members to manage incoming bulk material deliveries across the facility
• Transfer incoming products into intermediate bulk containers (IBC totes) using electric mobile scales when necessary
• Operate forklifts to transport finished products to designated storage areas
• Complete receiving transactions, documentation, and driver check-out procedures
• Inspect and maintain equipment and work areas to ensure safe operating conditions
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment
• Properly utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management
