Job summary

Staffing Network is seeking dedicated shipping and receiving associates for a large tile/countertop manufacturer located in Baytown, TX 77523. The Shipping and Receiving position reviews shipping orders on a tablet, verifies documentation, picks and pulls products, palletizes items, and secures them with shrink wrap for shipment.

This full-time role requires a High School diploma, at least one year of warehouse experience, and familiarity with forklifts and tablets.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick and stack flooring materials on pallets; secure loads with shrink wrap.
• Review and interpret shipping orders to identify products and transport methods.
• Ensure all shipping documentation is accurate and maintained.
• Prepare and organize paperwork for outbound shipments.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound freight schedules for warehouse operations.
• Communicate with carriers to arrange pickups and loading instructions.
• Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized warehouse and follow safety standards.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance tasks.

Staffing Network is seeking dedicated shipping and receiving associates for a large tile/countertop manufacture located in Baytown, TX 77523.

Summary:

The Shipping and Receiving position reviews shipping orders on a tablet, verifies documentation, picks and pulls products, palletizes items, and secures them with shrink wrap for shipment. This role involves about 60% manual labor and up to 40% forklift operation based on workload and business needs.

Work Hours:

Monday to Friday from 07:00 AM to 05:30 PM, 2 Saturday(s) a month from 07:00 AM to 01:00 PM

Employment Type:

Full-time

Compensation:

$18.75 to $21.75 per hour

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to complete the following essential duties and responsibilities:

• Accurately pick and stack flooring materials on pallets; secure loads with shrink wrap
• Review and interpret shipping orders to identify required products and transport methods
• Ensure all shipping documentation is accurate and properly maintained
• Prepare and organize paperwork for outbound shipments
• Coordinate inbound and outbound freight schedules to support efficient warehouse operations
• Communicate with carriers to arrange pickups and provide clear loading instructions
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse in compliance with safety standards
• Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance tasks
• Perform additional duties as required or requested.

Additionally, the candidate must meet the following Education and/or Experience requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of one (1) year warehouse experience
• Forklift experience preferred
• Proficient with tablets or iPads
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to follow instructions and perform well under pressure
