Job summary

Latham, The Pool Company in Plainfield, IN is seeking a Packing Clerk / Shipping Assistant to support shipping and receiving activities. You will coordinate orders in the ERP, prepare shipments, and ensure proper packaging according to standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least three years in shipping/warehouse. Forklift certification and willingness to work overtime are expected for this full-time, on-site position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least three years of shipping and warehouse experience.
• Ability to work overtime as required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to perform the heavy lifting required for the position.
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, meet deadlines, and achieve established goals.
• Current forklift license or the ability to operate a forklift and obtain a license promptly.

Responsibilities

• Assist the team with placing products in the correct staging lanes for shipment.
• Coordinate with the Team Lead to verify completed orders in the ERP system and prepare them for shipment.
• Ensure products are packaged in accordance with Latham Pool Products’ packaging standards.
• Move finished goods from the production department to storage and designated staging areas.
• Assist with international shipping arrangements and required documentation.
• Support the receiving and processing of incoming goods.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Follow all company policies, quality assurance programs, procedures, and safety standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
