Job summary

Quaker Windows & Doors is seeking a Shipping Coordinator to oversee daily shipping department operations and coordinate job assignments for loaders. You will work with production managers, supervisors, logistics, and customer service to ensure on-time loading for weekly routes.

The role requires attention to safety, accurate documentation, and effective communication. Mon-Fri, 6am–2:30pm, with occasional overtime in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar computer software.
• Knowledge of Quaker's green screen operating system.
• Knowledge of Quaker's shipping labels and paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Print the Loads Out paperwork.
• Work with logistics on getting preloads completed on time.
• Go through the backlog to get all past due jobs out and complete.
• Comply with safety and housekeeping standards.
• Verify loaders work safely and follow all standard operating procedures.
• Prompt and regular attendance at an assigned work location.
• Interact with employees and customers in an appropriate manner.
• Confer with staff members with whom the employee must interact on a regular basis.
• Communicate through email, prepare reports and work schedules.
• Review and analyze data and information.
• Plan, prioritize and monitor shipping activities.
• Complete assigned tasks/projects in a timely manner.

Duties and Responsibilities

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday during normal business hours. Occasional evening and weekend work overtime may be required as job duties demand.
