Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Shipping Operator at our Denver beverage plant to ensure accurate and timely outbound shipments. You will review shipments, fill orders, and maintain documentation while adhering to quality standards. The role requires forklift or related equipment handling, ability to lift heavy boxes, basic math, and proficiency with shipping software and MS Office.

High school diploma or GED is preferred. Rate is 25.20 USD per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be able to bend and lift heavy boxes.
• Well-organized and detail-oriented with multitasking ability.
• Experience with shipping management software and MS Office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review shipments, check for damages, and sort stock for distribution.
• Trailer inspection, report exceptions to Quality, check if all shipping criteria are met, record deviations on corrective form.
• Fill orders by taking items from the warehouse and prepare them for delivery.
• Pick order from Warehouse according to the Picking List.
• Fill out the Bill of Lading information.
• Complete the Outbound Trailer Inspection Form.
• Load carefully to avoid damaging the product.
• Verify pallets are wrapped in shrink wrap and inspected for damage and accuracy.
