Job summary

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in construction/shipping/manufacturing environment.
• General math skills and ability to read tape measurements.
• Ability to use hand tools and overhead lifting devices.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
• Detail-oriented with a safety-first mindset.
• Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to production needs.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety rules and adhere to core company values.
• Prepare finished goods for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
• Transport materials and finished product using hand trucks, forklifts, and other equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on foam machines and other equipment as needed.
• Maintain material-handling equipment with pre-use inspections and minor repairs.
• Review orders for quality and accuracy; confirm shipping documents are complete.
• Follow processes for expedited shipments affecting the production schedule.
• Be a team player and assist other departments as needed; be punctual and reliable.
