Job summary

Allison Transmission seeks a skilled supervisor to lead a medium to large team under UAW in our Indiana facility. You will coordinate material and production needs to meet schedules, expedite material movement, maintain inventory records, and collaborate with other departments to control costs and ensure quality.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, 5+ years of supervisory experience, and familiarity with SAP/ERP and Kanban.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of pull systems / Kanban preferred.
• Knowledge / experience with SAP or similar ERP systems preferred.
• Knowledge of scheduling and inventory control systems and processes preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years' Supervisory experience required.
• Knowledge of basic math required.
• Oral and written communication skills required.
• Analytical ability for solving complex problems required.
• Interpersonal skills to work effectively with others, motivate employees and elicit work output required.
• Ability to adapt to changes in responsibility based on business needs required.
• Willing to work any shift assigned.
• APICS CPIM certification preferred.
