Job summary

SunSource seeks a Shipping Coordinator for the Taylor, MI facility to manage shipping and receiving operations. The role requires coordinating all inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining data in the work order system, and ensuring timely, accurate processing.

Qualifications

5+ years shipping and receiving experience.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/Outlook).
Strong communication and negotiation skills; ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

Maintain and coordinate activities of all involved in the shipping & receiving process.
Monitor receiving to ensure inbound products are processed according to priority and data is entered into the work order system.
Monitor shipping to ensure outbound products are properly packaged and delivered per requirements; enter shipment info into the work order system.
Interface with Customer Service and Sales to resolve issues and answer questions.
Coordinate local delivery schedules with drivers, Customer Service, Customers, and Sales team members.
Perform all shipping and receiving functions, including loading and unloading LTL shipments (fork truck certification is required).
Coordinate changing delivery and priority requirements as necessary.
