Job summary

Trulite Glass & Aluminum Solutions is seeking a Production Warehouse Shipping Loader on the second shift. You will move glass, read labels, inspect quality, and help maintain product flow in a fast-paced facility.

The role involves lifting heavy loads, standing long hours, and working in a team to meet production goals. Benefits start day one, with bonus programs and occasional overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to lift 75 lbs unassisted and up to 150 lbs with assistance.
• Must be able to push weights greater than 150 lbs with a team.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to communicate as a member of a team.
• Must be able to follow instructions.
• Must possess good hand-eye coordination and be detail-oriented.
• Ability to read, understand, and communicate paperwork and labels.
• Ability to read and interpret basic mathematical measurements and effectively use a tape measure.

Responsibilities

• Move glass from tables, furnace, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or wood crates for eight or more hours daily.
• Transport materials to expedite the production process.
• Read and attach appropriate labels and tags to product.
• Quality inspection and operate equipment or manually maneuvering equipment.
• Understand facility layout for proper product flow.
• Perform different job functions on a rotating basis.
• Inspect product for abnormalities and report issues to supervisor.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.

What You Will Be Doing

• Move glass from, tables, furnace, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or wood crates for eight or more hours, daily
• Transport of materials, including glass from one position/location to another to expedite the production process
• Read and attach appropriate labels and tags to product
• Quality inspection, operating equipment, and/or manually maneuvering equipment
• Understand layout of the facility to ensure proper product flow
• Perform different job functions on a rotating basis
• Inspect product for any abnormalities and notifying supervisor immediately of any issues (fabrication issues, logo placement, etc.)
• Utilize a tape measure to ensure product is within the product specifications
• Maintain a safe and clean work area
• Regular and predictable attendance, the ability to safely perform tasks, and adherence to all safety policies and procedures are essential functions of your job

• Flexible work availability (typically Monday through Friday with occasional weekends)
• High School Diploma or GED, preferred
• One year of previous work experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or production facility, preferred
• Forklift experience a plus
• Overhead crane experience a plus
