Job summary

MITER Brands is hiring for a Shipping I role in Fife, WA. Swing shift 3:30PM-12:30AM with mandatory overtime. Starting pay is $23.00 per hour. The Shipping I team supports warehouse operations, including staging, material movement, and loading with a focus on safety and accuracy.

You will gain exposure to MITER Brands shipping processes and have the opportunity to advance to Shipping II. Prior warehouse or logistics experience is preferred; strong teamwork and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Warehouse, shipping, distribution, manufacturing, or logistics experience preferred.
• Basic computer and scanning device experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and attendance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with staging and preparing products for shipment.
• Move materials and finished goods throughout the department.
• Support loading activities under the direction of Shipping Leads and Shipping II team members.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

This role serves as a developmental position with the opportunity to learn shipping processes and progress into more advanced shipping responsibilities.ResponsibilitiesAssist with staging and preparing products for shipment.Move materials and finished goods throughout the department.Support loading activities under the direction of Shipping Leads and Shipping II team members.Perform basic scanning, verification, and documentation tasks.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.Assist with restaging, sorting, and inventory accuracy activities.Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and warehouse protocols.Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and leadership.Perform bending, reaching, stooping, twisting, and other material-handling activities throughout the shift.Learn MITER Brands shipping processes with the goal of developing into a Shipping II role.Physical RequirementsFrequently stand, walk, and move throughout the warehouse.Repeatedly lift, carry, push, and pull materials and products.Lift up to 50 pounds independently and participate in team lifts when necessary.Bend, stoop, reach, and twist throughout the workday.Safely handle glass, frames, and finished products.Use handheld scanners and perform basic computer-related tasks.Stand for extended periods during 10- to 12-hour shifts.Demonstrate fine motor skills for scanning, handling tools, and completing documentation.Visually inspect products to identify quality concerns or defects.Walk and work on concrete flooring throughout the shift.Work in warehouse conditions, including temperature fluctuations, noise, and dust.Maintain a consistent work pace while meeting safety and quality expectations.Demonstrate strong attention to detail when staging, verifying, and handling products.Preferred QualificationsPrevious warehouse, shipping, distribution, manufacturing, or logistics experience preferred.Basic computer and scanning device experience preferred.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong commitment to safety, quality, and attendance.#MITERtacWhat We OfferAt MITER Brands, we invest in your health, wealth, and wellness.
