Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. is hiring for a full-time warehouse/shipping position. You will fill orders, count, load and unload product according to the shipping schedule at our Philadelphia facility.

The role requires at least one year of shipping experience and a High School diploma or GED. You will maintain a clean work area and ensure compliance with safety and company policies.

• Demonstrated ability to read, comprehend and record information.

Responsibilities

• Records product receipts from plant or other plants accurately.
• Loads and unloads to the appropriate distribution area to meet shipping schedules.
• Maintains cleanliness of the work area.
• Performs other duties as directed by supervisor.
• Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures (EEO, Safety, etc.).
• Fulfills work schedules and adheres to attendance policies.

Bringing Home the Dough

Fills orders, counts, loads, and unloads product on incoming trailers according to the shipping schedule. Position requires demonstration of competency for all on-the-job activities that may have a direct or indirect affect on product safety, legality and/or quality.

Rising to the Challenge: Position Responsibilities

• Ensures that product received from plant or other plants is recorded correctly.
• Load and unloads to appropriate distribution area to ensure that shipping schedules are met.
• Maintains cleanliness of work area.
• Performs other duties as directed by supervisor.
• Ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures (EEO, Sexual Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes Oxley, etc.)
• Performance of other duties which are deemed by management to be an integral part of the job, including but not limited to fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and other applicable operating rules, policies and procedures.
