Job summary

SanMar seeks a Warehouse Associate IV in Dallas to coordinate daily workflows, meet schedules and quotas, and execute rush orders across departments. You may sort, palletize, and move product using powered equipment and RF systems in High Jump.

The role requires lifting up to 60 pounds, teamwork, and strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Shift is Mon-Fri 9am-5:30pm with overtime as needed. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Preferred.
• 4-6 years experience in a warehouse environment; loading and unloading trailers.
• 1-3 years experience operating a forklift or heavy equipment.
• Complete and maintain SanMar’s Lift Operator Certification in compliance with OSHA guidelines.
• Demonstrates ability to follow directions and change priorities or job duties as business needs require; rotate to other production functions as needed.

Responsibilities

• Understand internal processing schedules and estimate time to complete the job.
• Communicate daily with leadership and coworkers to ensure efficient workflow through the department.
• Train and coach employees on production guidelines, techniques and safety.
• Unload/load incoming and outgoing trailers, operating powered lift equipment to move product and materials as needed.
• Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.
• Generate reports to acquire data as needed to support error resolution functions in the receiving process.
• Support other functions of the Distribution Center as needed, including error resolution, inventory audits, customer service, and invoicing and tagging shipments.
• Responsible for checking out equipment and returning in same condition on a daily basis. Inspects assigned equipment daily at start of shift.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy warehouse environment by adhering to organization standards and policies, and to legal regulations; alerting others regarding potential concerns.
