The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for the overall performance and continuity of the warehouse office to include order management, order creation and return documentation and is also responsible for clerical/administrative support for customer accounts, and acting as a liaison between customers and associates as instructed.
To be successful in this position the individual must possess solid math skills, along with accuracy and organization with paperwork and attention to detail. The essential duties and responsibilities are as follows. Additional duties may be assigned.
The atmosphere is that of a manufacturing plant. The position will primarily work where moving machinery produces noise. Employees must wear Personal Protective Equipment that is issued for that location. Temperature can range from extreme cold to extreme heat. Physical demands may include standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, climbing, pushing/pulling, forward bending, reaching, kneeling, crouching, squatting, crawling, postural balancing, manipulating, trunk rotation, handling, gripping, and talking (hearing).
