Job summary

NCH Corporation in Irving, TX is seeking a Shipping Clerk to support shipping operations. Reports to Shipping Supervisor and helps manage assets in Equipment, Controls, and Inventory.

You will prepare loads for shipment, operate forklifts, verify freight, perform cycle counts, and use inventory software. Must be detail oriented and able to work overtime. We offer comprehensive benefits and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
• Knowledge of Oracle and Clear Orbit preferred.
• Heavy lifting up to 400 lbs. and up to 70 lbs.
• Ability to handle ever changing, multiple priorities.
• Team player with reliable work ethic.
• Overltime may be required, especially Fridays.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare loads to be shipped.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks as necessary.
• Freight check shipments.
• Inventory and cycle count.
• Use computer for inventory, order processing, email, and other tasks.
• Able and willing to work in any area of the department.
• Communicate with Transportation and other Departments.
• Other warehouse activities as needed.
• Be VERY detail oriented and accurate.
