Sierra Circuits in San Jose, CA is seeking a Shipping Clerk/Driver to package and deliver PCB orders on time, and to pickup or deliver materials as needed.

You will coordinate daily with Quality, Accounting, Shipping, and Production, prepare packing slips, create labels, and ensure safe, punctual deliveries using FedEx or UPS software. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, 2–5 years shipping/driving experience, and strong communication and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• 2-5 years experience in shipping/driving preferred.
• Prior experience in PCB manufacturing industry preferred.
• Good sense of directions and ability to read and understand maps.
• Ability to read/understand travelers and outside service requirements a plus.
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills. Fluent in English.
• Ability to learn new skills and tasks as required, especially ProCim.
• Be punctual and maintain good attendance.
• Must have a professional demeanor and excellent customer service skills with a sense of urgency.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds maximum and stand/walk throughout the day.
• Ability to perform at the highest level in a fast-paced environment.
• Good driving record
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsabilités

• Promptly deliver orders and pick-up outside services i.e. materials, supplies, etc.
• Handle all boards properly and with caution to avoid damages.
• Read travelers and understand outside service requirements.
• Respond to internal/external customers in a professional and timely manner.
• Safely operate company vehicle while following local laws and regulations.
• Interact professionally and diplomatically with managers, co-workers, customers and vendors.
• Ability to follow and comply with company’s internal safety policies as well as external regulator agencies.
• Other duties as assigned.

SUMMARY OF JOB FUNCTION:

The Shipping Clerk/Driver is responsible for packaging and delivering daily shipments of Printed Circuit Board (PCB) orders on-time. In addition, the individual will pick-up/deliver materials, supplies, etc. as needed.

Hours: Tue-Fri, 12:30pm – 9pm. Saturday 8:30am – 5pm

SALARY

$20 to $22 Hourly

ENVIRONMENT

• The manufacturing facility is exposed to electronics assembly equipment and materials.
• May require working in a controlled environment with specific temperature and humidity requirements.
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required to perform the work.
