Qualifications

• Must be able to read, analyze and interpret general business documents and procedures.
• High school diploma or GED; or 2 years related experience or training; or equivalent combination.
• Ability to read a tape measure, use computer programs, and measure weight; 25 wpm typing speed.

Responsibilities

• Prints and organizes picking tickets for pickers.
• Verifies and records outgoing shipments, and prepares items for shipment.
• Checks proper warehouse location and monitors back orders for timely shipment.
• Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
• Ensures safe handling and shipping of hazardous materials.
• Organizes daily shipping demand; maintains shipping records.
• Prepares and archives shipping records; records variances or adjustments.
• Oversees housekeeping to meet 5S standards and supports training.
• Notifies assembly of sales orders requiring manufacturing; records transfers.
• Performs duties for staff coverage and assists with training and team meetings.
• Generates reports and assists with cycle counting and inventories.
