Job summary

MEC (Mayville Engineering Company, Inc.) is seeking an on-site forklift operator to maintain material flow and inventory accuracy in our Ohio facility. The role requires safe forklift operation, basic math and computer skills, and reliable attendance.

You will engage with ERP for data entry and support daily production tasks. Candidates should be able to perform basic inspections on equipment, manage battery changes for forklifts, and work with scheduling boards to coordinate part movements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Forklift operation and battery changing ability.
• Basic math and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety and environmental procedures.
• Enter part information and inventory data in ERP system using computer, printer, and handheld scanner.
• Load, unload and move parts using forklift.
• Inspect equipment such as forklift to ensure safety.
• Execute scheduling board.
