Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Shipping Clerk to perform clerical shipping functions within our distribution environment in Newnan, GA. You will generate shipping paperwork, communicate exception reports to supervisors, and organize packets for trucking services.

WORKING CONDITIONS and PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Exposure to changing climatic conditions and extreme heat and cold.
• Sitting or standing for long periods of time, mostly in an office environment; walking long distances.
• Bending, stooping, squatting, or kneeling on a repetitive basis.
• Fast-paced environment.
