Job summary

Hire Up Staffing Services in Fowler, CA is seeking two PM Shipping Clerks to join a fast-paced food manufacturing operation. The roles involve preparing outgoing shipments, verifying documents, and using scanners to track inventory.

Typical shift is 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM, Monday through Saturday; pay range $16.90–$18.00 per hour depending on experience. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and be bilingual English/Spanish.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of shipping clerk or related warehouse experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate basic warehouse equipment.
• Experience with scanners and inventory systems is a plus.
• Flexible schedule with willingness to work varied shifts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and verify outgoing shipments for accuracy.
• Create bills of lading and shipping documents.
• Receive, inspect, and unload incoming shipments.
• Compare packing slips to purchase orders.
• Sort, count, label, package, and maintain inventory records.
• Use handheld scanning devices to track inventory movement.
• Inspect shipments for damage and report discrepancies.
• Coordinate deliveries to internal departments.
• Research lost shipments and assist with proof of delivery documentation.
• Maintain shipping and receiving records.
• Operate pallet jacks, dollies, and forklifts (if qualified).
• Follow all company safety and quality procedures.
• Perform other warehouse and shipping duties as assigned.
