Job summary

Safety Rail Company in Chanhassen, MN is hiring for an entry-level Warehouse role in our shipping team. You will pick components for shipments, build pallets, and use tools like ShipHawk and inventory systems to process jobs.

This day shift runs Monday through Friday 8:00am-4:30pm with mandatory overtime when business conditions require it. You must pass a pre-employment physical, drug test, and background check.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in shipping or warehouse operations.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work with others.
• Must pass pre-employment physical, drug test, and background check.

Responsibilities

• Pick components and assemble shipments.
• Build pallets by product size/type using hand/power tools.
• Use Clocking, Inventory, Job Completion and ShipHawk for processing tasks.
• Load and unload shipments.
• Assist in training employees in the work center.
• Overtime when required; adhere to attendance policy.
• All other duties as required.

Responsibilities

• Pick individual components and parts to combine into single shipment
• Build pallets based on size and type of product needing shipment using hand and power tools
• Utilize technology for processing jobs and communication (Clocking, Inventory, Job Completion, ShipHawk)
• Load and unload all forms of trucking/shipping
• Assist in training employees in the work center with current knowledge base
• Mandatory overtime when business conditions require it
• Adherence to the attendance policy
• All other duties as required

Shift Schedule

Monday through Friday 8:00am-4:30pm; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar shipping role
• Experience in a construction, field services, or foreman-type role is highly beneficial
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work well with others
• Excellent organizational skills for maintaining inventory levels and stock management
• Problem-solving skills for resolving shipping discrepancies and customer issues
• Applicants must pass a pre-employment physical, drug test, and background check as a prerequisite of employment
