Job summary

Imperial Brady in Lithia Springs, GA, is seeking a Shipping Coordinator to join our hands-on logistics team. You will operate an order-picker, prepare orders for shipping, stack and wrap pallets, and verify packing lists for accuracy to ensure on-time deliveries.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience with electric pallet jacks and cherry pickers, the ability to lift 60 lbs, and a willingness to work a daytime Monday–Friday schedule. Warehouse experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 year experience operating an electric pallet jack and cherry picker.
• Ability to lift 60 lbs and pull 200 lbs with equipment.
• Warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate an order-picker to retrieve stock.
• Prepare orders for shipping and palletize merchandise.
• Check packing lists against merchandise for accuracy.
• Inspect merchandise for damage.
• Load palletized merchandise onto carriers' trucks.
• Maintain records of outbound shipments.
• Frequent inspections of material handling equipment to report issues.

The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for operating an order-picker to retrieve and ship stocked merchandise to fulfill customer orders that are shipped via various freight line carriers.

This is a Day Shift position Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm.

You will:

• Operate an order-picker to retrieve stock
• Prepare orders for shipping
• Stack and wrap merchandise on pallets.
• Check the packing list against the merchandise for accuracy.
• Inspect merchandise for damage.
• Load palletized merchandise on various freight line carriers’ trucks.
• Manage shipping vendor returns.
• Maintain records of outbound shipments
• Frequently inspect material handling equipment to report any mechanical issues.

You have:

• Ability to learn and operate ERP system.
• 1 year experience operating an electric pallet jack and cherry picker.
• Ability to lift and carry 60 lbs; ability to pull 2200 lbs using a pallet jack and pull or push 200 lbs using a two-wheeler.
• Ability to stand and be in motion at all times. Flexible enough to walk, twist, bend, stoop, pull, grip and lift merchandise.
• Warehouse experience preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required
