Job summary

Bimbo Bakeries USA is hiring a Shipping Associate in Lancaster County, NY. You will load/unload trailers, verify loads, maintain records, and operate pallet jacks and forklifts in a warm, focused shipping environment.

Great starting pay with full medical, dental, vision, and a retirement plan. Candidates should be 18+, able to work nights/weekends, and lift up to 50 lbs. English communication required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 1-3 years of shipping experience preferred.
• Ability to lift, push/pull up to 50 lbs, stack/unstack or carry, stand or stoop for prolonged periods.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trailers accurately, verify route loads, maintain shipping yard records.
• Count and check products for accuracy and quality; report overages/shortages; participate in cycle counts.
• Operate material handling equipment including pallet jack and forklift.

Great starting pay! $23.00/hour. Shift: 4:00 pm to 12:30 am/Tuesday and Saturday off.

What you will be doing:

• Responsible for accurately loading and unloading trailers, verifying route load(s), trailer reports, and maintaining the shipping yard.
• Count and check products for accuracy and quality, maintain accurate records, report overages and shortages, & participate in "Cycle Counts".
• Operate material handling equipment; including pallet jack, forklift, etc.
• Troubleshoot issues with packing equipment, label machines, tapers, palletizers, etc.

What we need from you:

• At least 18 years of age or older.
• 1-3 Years of shipping experiencepreferred.
• Ability to lift, push/pull up to 50lbs, stack/unstack or carry, stand and/or stoop for prolonged periods of time.
• Comfortable in a warm working environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to work Nights, Weekends & Holidays.
