Job summary

Bimbo Bakeries USA is seeking a Shipping Associate for the 2nd shift to load/unload trailers, verify loads, and maintain the shipping yard with accurate records.

You will operate pallet jacks and forklifts, perform cycle counts, and ensure safe, efficient procedures. 18+ with 1–3 years shipping experience preferred; must lift up to 50 lbs and work nights, weekends, and holidays. Equal opportunity employer.

Great starting pay! $24.30/ hour. 2 nd Shift position. Benefits subject to collective bargaining agreement terms: Pension, Medical, Dental, Holidays, Paid Time Off.

What you will be doing:

• Responsible for accurately loading and unloading trailers, verifying route load(s), trailer reports, and maintaining the shipping yard.
• Count and check products for accuracy and quality, maintain accurate records, report overages and shortages, & participate in "Cycle Counts".
• Operate material handling equipment; including pallet jack, forklift, etc.
• Troubleshoot issues with packing equipment, label machines, tapers, palletizers, etc.

What we need from you:

• At least 18 years of age or older.
• 1-3 Years of shipping experiencepreferred.
• Ability to lift, push/pull up to 50lbs, stack/unstack or carry, stand and/or stoop for prolonged periods of time.
• Comfortable in a warm working environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to work Nights, Weekends & Holidays.
