Job summary

Area Coordinator 2 - Shipping is based in Atlanta, GA, and reports to the shift supervisor. You will oversee and coordinate the area’s daily operations, provide line-lead guidance, and partner with other departments to ensure timely movement of materials and fulfillment of customer orders.

You will manage material receipt, storage, and transfers, perform training, monitor inventory, and support process improvements to drive efficiency and cost reductions.

Qualifications

• Ability to sit for an extended amount of time.
• Lift up to 50+ lbs.
• Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, consistently meeting deadlines with accurate and detailed results.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the daily operations of the assigned area, ensuring adherence to established policies, procedures, and quality standards.
• Serve as the line lead, assist with supervising the flow of the work and process.
• Assist with identifying bottlenecks and areas for improvement, proposing solutions to enhance productivity.
• Provide one-on-one or group hands-on training for new and returning associates on ticket processing.
• Track inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
• Process orders, verify pricing and availability with vendors, and ship products to customers.
