Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. in Ohio is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator for a 2nd shift (2:00 pm–10:30 pm) in a cold storage facility. You will send, inspect and record outgoing products, load packages with the DC, and verify contents against orders.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and 4+ years in shipping plus 2+ years in a distribution environment, with strong math and documentation skills. Benefits start after 60 days.

Responsibilities

  • Sends shipments and creates paperwork for outgoing deliveries.
  • Inspects shipments to ensure there are no damages.
  • Verifies shipments per order requirements.
  • May send shipments outside the US contiguous border.
  • Investigates problems and resolves discrepancies.
  • Labels shipments prior to loading.
  • Trains new teammates in shipping department.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

As a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator, you will send, inspect and record outgoing products. Work with DC to load packages and check their contents to ensure they match the orders.

  • Pay rate: $22.00 to $23.00 per hour, depending on experience.
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday
  • Start time: 2:00 pm until 10:30 pm.
  • Position is located in a cold storage facility and requires prolonged exposure to cold temperatures.

Qualifications You’ll Bring As a Warehouse Teammate
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 4 or more years’ experience in a shipping department.
  • 2 or more years’ experience in a distribution environment.
  • Experience shipping outside the US contiguous border is preferred.
  • Strong math and documentation abilities.
  • This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
