Job summary

Sloomoo Institute is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk in Atlanta to manage outgoing shipments and receive incoming goods. The role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and teamwork in a creative, guest-facing environment.

Both part-time and full-time, hourly non-exempt positions are available with shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays. Prior manufacturing/production exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; experience in a manufacturing or production environment is a plus.
• Keen attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Basic understanding of safe handling of materials and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload shipments with enthusiasm and efficiency.
• Comfortable carrying heavy boxes (upwards to 50+ pounds).
• Comfortable bending, reaching, lift, etc...
• Comfortably navigate stairs while ensuring the safe handling of incoming goods.
• Stock shelves with precision and attention to detail.
• Maintain a neat and organized receiving area.
• Perform cleaning duties to uphold a clean and inviting environment.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by managers.
