Job summary

Warrior Sports in Shelby Township, MI is hiring for a full-time Shipping Department associate. You will prepare shipments, operate forklifts and pallet jacks, and document shipment details in our WMS.

Requirements include a high school diploma, basic computer skills (Excel/Outlook), and a team‑oriented, reliable attitude. Prior warehouse experience is a plus, with opportunities to grow within a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

• Experience with warehouse equipment a plus and familiarity with MS Office/Maps.

Responsibilities

• Stack and organize boxes on to pallets.
• Wrap and weigh pallets using forklift and electric pallet jack.
• Prepare shipping paperwork (pallet sheets, tags, summaries).
• Enter shipment details into the Warehouse Management System.
• Create Bills of Lading and coordinate with carriers.
• Follow SOPs for shipments.
• Assist with unloading containers and loading trucks.
• Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and running smoothly.
• Assist with general warehouse tasks as needed.

Position Summary

In the Shipping Department, you are responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely shipment of goods and materials from the warehouse to customers or other destinations. Your primary duties will include preparing and setting up shipments for compliance customers. Your role may involve using manual or electric pallet jacks and adhering to industry-standard practices and procedures.

Principal Responsibilities

• Stack and organize boxes on to pallets

• Help with unloading containers and loading trucks
• Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and running smoothly
• Jump in to help with general warehouse tasks as needed

Physical Characteristics

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and sit as required.
• Capable of lifting items over 10lbs and up to 75 lbs.

This is a full-time, first-shift position with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Occasional opportunities for overtime.
