Job summary

Lineage Logistics is hiring for a forklift/warehouse associate in Riverside, OH. You will load, move, and palletize goods using a forklift and pallet jack, verify inventory with RF scanning, and inspect shipments for quality.

Shifts run 4PM-12:30AM with weekend availability required; Fri-Tue or Thur-Mon schedules. Pay ranges from $16.97 to $28.65 per hour plus a $0.75 shift differential, with comprehensive benefits and continuous safety training.

Qualifications

• Identify products by reading, interpreting, and scanning pallet IDs.
• Understand and follow Lineage Logistics instructions and safety rules.
• Show strong organization and attention to detail in a warehouse setting.
• Work in cold or dry storage environments with PPE.
• Able to lift at least 40 lb as part of daily tasks.
• Flexible work schedule including weekends when required.
• Be comfortable with varying noise levels in a warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow computerized work orders to determine quantities and types of products to be shipped.
• Locate requested items in the warehouse.
• Change over pallets for picking and inspect items for damages.
• Document and report damages to supervisors.
• Pack, seal, and label materials for shipping using RF scanning to verify counts.
• Notify leaders of any product issues and await instructions.
• Assist with cleaning and organizing the warehouse at shift end.
• Operate alongside other material handling equipment.

Job description

Use forklift and pallet jack to move products on and off trucks while following all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures. Verify inventory and visually inspect shipments for quality.

Schedule:

4PM-12:30AM *Must be Available on Weekends*

Fri-Tue (Off Wed/Thur)

Thur-Mon (Tue/Wed)

Pay:

$20-22 + .75 Shift Differential

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Read and follow computerized work orders to determine quantities and types of products to be shipped
• Determine the location of requested items in the warehouse
• Change over pallets for picking, visually inspect items for damages or flaws
• Document and report damages to supervisors or leads
• Pack, seal, and label materials/pallets for shipping using Radio Frequency (RF) scanning equipment to document and verify counts of picked items
• Alert appropriate leader of any issues with the product or materials and await directions to rectify the problem
• Help clean and organize the warehouse at the end of the shift

ADDITIONAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with other machinery and material handling equipment

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)

• Must be able to identify products through reading, interpreting, and scanning pallet identification numbers
• Ability to understand instructions in Country’s official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear
• Must be able to lift a minimum of40lbs.; weight may be more dependent upon facility
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed
• Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud

Pay Range:$16.97 - $28.65
