Job summary

Boston Brace International, Inc dba OP Specialty Bracing in Wayland, IA is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our pediatric orthotics team. You will verify quantities, process ERP transactions, store materials, and prepare outbound shipments to support timely material flow.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma and previous shipping/receiving experience; forklift cert is a plus. This role offers competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills and experience with ERP systems preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials and verify quantities, packaging, and documentation.
• Process receiving transactions accurately within the ERP system.
• Store materials in designated warehouse locations and maintain organization.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders and internal transfers for shipment.
• Complete shipping documentation and coordinate carrier pickups.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and participate in cycle counts.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Follow FIFO and material traceability requirements.
• Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Support production by ensuring timely delivery of materials and components.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Position Summary :

Responsible for receiving incoming materials, maintaining accurate inventory transactions, preparing outbound shipments, and supporting warehouse operations to ensure timely material flow throughout the organization.

• Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills and experience using ERP systems preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a cross-functional team.
