Job summary

Telix Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Shipping and Logistics Coordinator in a hybrid/remote-friendly role based in the United States. You will ensure proper packaging, labeling, and timely delivery of radiopharmaceutical products, adhering to hazardous materials regulations while working with suppliers and internal teams to optimize inventory and shipping processes.

The role backs up the Inventory Specialist to ensure continuity of services and supports continuous improvements in logistics

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations, preferably in a regulated environment such as pharmaceuticals.
  • Familiarity with hazardous materials handling and transportation regulations (e.g., DOT, IATA, NRC) and IOATA certification.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience with inventory management systems and logistics software is desirable.
  • Knowledge of radiation safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule and arrange transportation of radiopharmaceutical products following regulatory standards for hazardous materials.
  • Pack, label, and prepare products for shipment with shipping labels and documents.
  • Verify lot numbers, expiration dates, and radioactivity on shipping docs; monitor temperature devices as required.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and Telix Logistics to resolve delivery and inventory issues.
  • Maintain inventory of all controlled temperature shipping materials.
  • Procure and deliver radioactive isotopes for manufacturing, calibration, or site needs.
  • Document radioactive waste and shipments for regulatory tracking.
  • Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes and reduce costs.

The Shipping and Logistics Coordinator ensures that product shipments are packaged properly and delivered in a timely and efficient manner while strictly adhering to regulatory guidelines and safety protocols related to hazardous materials. The Shipping and Logistics Coordinator will work closely with suppliers, transportation companies, and internal teams to optimize inventory management and shipping processes, ensuring smooth lab operations.

Key Accountabilities
  • Schedule and arrange the transportation of radiopharmaceutical products, adhering to regulatory and transportation standards for hazardous materials.

  • Verify lot number, expiration date, and radioactivity are correct on shipping documentation and that temperature monitoring devices are used as required.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal departments (e.g., Telix Logistics) to resolve issues related to deliveries, inventory, or
  • Maintain inventory of all controlled temperature shipping
  • Coordinate the procurement and timely delivery of radioactive isotopes for manufacturing, calibration or other site
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of radioactive and non-radioactive products and product components, ensuring accurate inventory accounting, storage and safety in compliance with regulations.
  • Complete accurate documentation of radioactive waste and products shipped for purposes of tracking site radioactive inventory and regulatory compliance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes, enhance efficiency, and reduce costs.
Education And Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field, or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations, preferably in a regulated environment such as pharmaceuticals
