Job summary

Rheem in Missouri is seeking a shipping/receiving associate to spot trailers, move them between the lot and dock doors, and maintain trailer inventory. You will operate a forklift and keep the yard clean and safe.

This role requires a CDL and at least 1 year of driving experience including backing into docks, plus solid written and verbal communication to coordinate with drivers and yard staff for efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year driving experience including backing into docks.
• Self-motivated and self-directed.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Spots designated trailer(s) from trailer lot to assigned dock door or from dock door to trailer lot
• Ensures that all trailer wheels are chocked
• Maintains a clean parking/docking area in accordance with standards
• Maintain driver maintenance of vehicle
• Ensure trailers are in adequate operational condition
• Maintain a valid CDL license
• Track and audit trailer inventory
• Operate forklift to perform Shipping & Receiving tasks
