Weatherby, Inc. is hiring a Shipper/Receiver I to support daily shipping and receiving activities while learning core processes, systems, and safety practices. The role starts with foundational tasks and expands as skills grow, contributing to accurate shipments and inventory control.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience preferred but not required.
• Willingness to learn shipping and receiving processes and systems.
• Ability to read and follow safety rules, operating instructions, and work orders.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate clearly and work well with others.
• Forklift experience preferred or willingness to obtain certification.
• Dependability, initiative, and a positive attitude toward learning.

Responsibilities

• Assist with picking, packing, labeling, and preparing domestic shipments accurately and efficiently.
• Help receive incoming materials by unloading, counting, and organizing product under direction.
• Verify basic order and shipment information to ensure accuracy.
• Learn to operate NetSuite, Kardex, and other warehouse systems for tracking and inventory accuracy.
• Assist with packaging, palletizing, wrapping, and staging shipments.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and warehouse equipment safely once trained and authorized.
• Support finished goods inventory organization and basic inventory counts.
• Assist with returns, RMAs, and rework under guidance.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Support other warehouse tasks as needed to keep work flowing smoothly.
