Job summary

SiteOne Landscape Supply in Mahwah, NJ is seeking a Shipper/Receiver to help maintain world-class store performance by accurately receiving orders, processing outgoing shipments, and keeping the branch organized. The role includes handling UPS shipments, documenting discrepancies, stock control, and assisting with loading and delivery preparations.

You will work with branch leadership to adopt new technologies and safe practices, ensuring a reliable and efficient operation.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately.
• Ready and willing to learn and adopt new technologies and ways of working.
• Landscape, Nursery, or Irrigation product knowledge is helpful.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive purchase orders and transfers and receive inter-company transfers.
• Process outgoing shipments of products via UPS or other delivery methods.
• Document and resolve discrepancies related to transfers and purchase orders.
• Stock product in correct warehouse location.
• Process customer orders and provides technical advice.
• Pull orders and prepares loads for delivery to customer.
• Assist in the loading and unloading of trucks.
• Partner with branch leadership to understand and implement new technologies and ways of working to help positively impact business performance.
• Maintain a safe working environment.

Position Overview

Our Shippers/Receivers help achieve world-class store performance while contributing to and supporting the overall branch strategy, performance, and growth. Shipper/Receivers receive orders, process outgoing shipments, and help maintain the overall organization of the branch.
