PROMED MOLDED PRODUCTS INC is seeking a Shipper/Receiver to handle shipping, receiving and related ERP transactions. You will help ensure materials meet specifications and support production schedules.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, basic Math skills, and proficiency with Word, Excel and Outlook. English proficiency and good communication are required for daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Receive and ship materials, and perform ERP transactions.
• Verify documents and materials for accuracy and specs.
• Coordinate delivery and distribution to meet production schedules.
• Assist with inventory counts and physical inventory.
• Prepare products for shipment to standards.
• Collaborate with lab, quality, and manufacturing teams as needed.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Shipper/Receiver is responsible for shipping and receiving materials and goods. The position operates under the supervision of the lead or manager. The Shipper/Receiver ensures ProMed’s brand, philosophy, systems, policies, and procedures are properly implemented and observed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Position duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Receives and ships materials, as well as performing the necessary transactions in the ERP system;
• Examines documents and materials for completeness, accuracy and conformance to specifications;
• Arranges the delivery and distribution of parts and materials in a manner that will satisfy production schedules and requirements including expedited material;
• Assist with inventory cycle counts and physical inventory;
• Packages and prepares products for shipments to standards and specifications;
• Identifies and implements a comprehensive education plan to continually advance technical skills and personal development as well as enhancing organizational effectiveness.
• Participates in project planning.
• Perform batch record review, according to established procedures
• Establishes and cultivates a network of support (laboratory, quality, manufacturing, engineering, sales, and marketing) to facilitate completion of assignments.
• Develop acceptable work habits, skills, knowledge, and contributions consistent with the Shipper/Receiver II position level.
• Able to lift 40+ pounds, frequently, during the shift
• This job also requires performing other duties as assigned.

Required:

• High School Diploma or General Education Diploma
• Basic math skills
• Professional, courteous, and friendly disposition
• Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other similar computer software

• Clearly conveys ideas and receives information effectively

Preferred:

• Medical/clean-room knowledge/experience
• Knowledge/training to ISO 13485 (Current) Standards
• Shipping/Receiving experience in the medical industry
