Job summary

Ezetop LLC is seeking a reliable Material Handler to support daily shipping, receiving, and internal material movement. The role requires accuracy in inventory tracking, ability to operate basic material handling equipment, and adherence to safety procedures.

You will collaborate with multiple shifts to ensure on-time delivery of components, maintain accurate records, and assist with packaging and transfers as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous similar experience is required.
• HS diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to use computers and manage records.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and conducts movement of product, work-in-process, finished goods, and materials for maximum efficiency.
• Straps/bands and wraps product for shipment.
• Operates material handling equipment, such as hand jacks and motorized fork lifts.
• Moves palletized material with hand or motorized fork trucks including loading/unloading trucks and moving material within the plant.
• Maintains accurate records of material transfers from work-in-process to finished goods.
• Produces various shipping/receiving reports and performs administrative duties, including packing slips, bills of lading, and receivers as needed.
• Arranges orders and communicates with transportation suppliers regarding shipping and receiving of goods.
• Uses the computer system to accurately and effectively track inventory transactions and coordinates shipping/receiving functions.
• Assists with coordinating trucking schedules for out-bound shipments.

Essential Functions

1. Organizes and conducts movement of product, work-in-process, finished goods, and materials for maximum efficiency;
2. Straps/bands and wraps product for shipment;
3. Operates material handling equipment, such as hand jacks and motorized fork lifts;
4. Moves palletized material with hand or motorized fork trucks including loading/unloading trucks and moving material within the plant;
5. Brings packaging, molded product, and hardware to staging area;
6. Maintains accurate records of material transfers from work-in-process to finished goods;
7. Operates scales accurately;
8. Produces various shipping/receiving reports and performs administrative duties, including packing slips, bills of lading, and receivers as needed;
9. Arranges orders and communicates with transportation suppliers regarding shipping and receiving of goods;
10. Ensures communication/information flow between departments and shifts is maintained and effective;
11. Uses the computer system to accurately and effectively track inventory transactions and coordinates shipping/receiving functions;
12. Assists with coordinating trucking schedules for out-bound shipments;
13. Maintains open order files and issues receivers;
14. See, read, and follows work instructions and safety procedures;
15. Works with co-workers in a safe, professional, and cooperative manner;
16. Maintains good attendance, flexibility in job assignments, adaptable to changing business needs, and continually learns and applies new skills;
17. Trains others on knowledge and skills mastered;

Pre-Requisites/Minimum Qualifications

Previous similar experience; HS diploma or GED; working knowledge of Mack Molding Company’s manufacturing environment and material flow; ability to use computers; HS reading and math and skills or equivalent; inventory tracking / organization skills; able to work flexible work schedules/OT.
