Job summary

TOTE Maritime Puerto Rico is seeking a Shipment Services Generalist to gather and communicate cargo information, post and distribute invoices, and support cross-functional teams. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.

You will manage department emails, understand freight documentation, and resolve discrepancies with internal departments and customers to ensure timely and accurate information flow and billing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with some college experience.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
• Experience with invoices, documentation, and customer service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate important customer transactional information to other departments.
• Manage department emails and coordinate across teams to resolve issues.
• Understand freight documentation, regulatory requirements, and billing processes.
• Process invoices, postings, and ensure accurate revenue recognition.
• Notify customers of potential charges and reconcile discrepancies with carriers.
