Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Quality Control Tech to perform shipboard and alteration inspections, documenting findings and supporting QA workbooks. The role emphasizes adherence to NAVSEA standards, MIL-SPECs, and ISO processes in a dynamic maritime environment.

Responsibilities include coordinating with QAM/PM, reviewing inspection data for accuracy, and ensuring all safety and regulatory requirements are met on U.S. Naval vessels. Some travel and a background check are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma plus relevant inspection experience is required.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical instructions.
• Experience documenting inspections and generating QA reports.
• Familiarity with ISO controls and NAVSEA specifications is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Work with QAM and Project Manager to identify inspection requirements.
• Review and certify data to ensure compliance with standards and contractual requirements.
• Maintain safe work environment and proper documentation of inspections.
• Travel to CONUS/OCONUS as required for shipboard inspections.
• Possess or obtain requisite security clearance and pass background checks.
