Job summary

Amee Bay, LLC, a Three Saints Bay, LLC subsidiary and federal contractor, seeks an Engineering Technician V in Chesapeake, VA. The role tests, repairs, and designs electrical/electronic equipment for naval applications. You will read blueprints, troubleshoot systems, and provide design recommendations.

Requires 5 years of HM&E experience on US Navy vessels, ability to use precision measuring tools, and the ability to obtain/maintain an active Secret Clearance. Travel CONUS/OCONUS may be required.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED (or military/trade schooling) providing engineering knowledge.
  • 5+ years in operation, maintenance, testing, and repair of HM&E equipment on US Navy ships/submarines.
  • Ability to read blueprints, sketches, and manuals; perform red-line drawings and design recommendations.
  • Must pass drug screening and hold/obtain an active Secret Clearance; travel up to CONUS/OCONUS.

Responsibilities

  • Shipboard tag-out, WAF programs and naval procedures/instructions.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and manuals; repair and test equipment.
  • Troubleshoot, disassemble, inspect, and reassemble electrical equipment.
  • Plan wiring and circuit diagrams; fabricate cable runs and wire ways.
  • Maintain safety compliance with OSHA and Navy electrical standards.
