Job summary

Disney Cruise Line seeks an Electrical Engineer to manage maintenance and troubleshoot Main Plant or Hotel systems on a shipboard rotation. You will report to the First Electrical Engineer and work in a dynamic onboard environment.

A valid ETO CoC and shipboard experience are required, with English fluency and a willingness to guide team members. Role is shipboard-based with on-call duties and emphasis on safety, with benefits including major medical coverage and disability/life insurance.

Qualifications

• Valid ETO CoC is required.
• 2+ years shipboard experience as Electro-technical Officer.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Enthusiasm about guiding other team members.

Responsibilities

• Complete monthly maintenance routines and report work.
• Provide professional and social guidance to team members.
• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance, including troubleshooting and repairing on Main Plant or Hotel systems.
• Install and maintain electric wiring and related equipment around the ship.
• Be assigned to an On Call rotating system.
• Execute emergency duties as per the ship Assembly Plan.
• Uphold general safety management responsibilities in your area.
