Job summary

American Cruise Lines, the largest U.S. cruise company, is hiring for the 2026 season as a shipboard Dishwasher to ensure sanitation in the galley and support dining service. This temporary, 28-week onboard role pays $1,000–$1,400 per week with bonuses; travel, room and board, uniforms and training are provided.

Applicants must be 18+, a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder, and pass pre-employment drug testing.

Qualifications

• At least eighteen years of age and eligible to work in the U.S.
• U.S. citizen or Green Card holder
• Pre-employment drug test required by law
• Grooming standards apply (tattoos/piercings) and shipboard presentation standards

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of galley, cutlery, glassware, dishes and surrounding areas.
• Receive and carry food deliveries up to 50 lbs.
• Ensure dishwasher operates properly and report maintenance needs.
• Interact with guests and assist with galley requests efficiently.
• May assist with additional duties such as embarkation greetings and during special events.
